Location:
This retreat is held in a stunning natural setting of an island and National Park Mljet, Croatia. Mljet is by many the most beautiful and most forested island in the Adriatic and one of the most beautiful pearls of the Mediterranean. Untouched nature, the island’s mysticism, olive groves, vineyards and rich forests are ideal places to research the rich flora and fauna and to peacefully enjoy the pristine beauty
Mljet National Park makes up most of the island, and there are several villages, two salt water lakes – Veliko and Malo jezero, and a Benedictine monastery on the island of St. Maria
Preserved from the Illyrian period, there are many fortifications and tombs, and the best preserved are those on the hill of Veliki Gradac, Veliko jezero and the fortress at Vodice, above the water source at Vodice at Babino Polje. The Roman Palace, which is the largest after Diocletian’s Palace in Split and the Arena in Pula, is a part of the valuable heritage of the island of Mljet.
Food:
During this retreat, you can have healthy organic meals in a nearby restaurant for very fair prices or prepare meals on your own. As a part of the group, you will get a discount in the restaurant. If you have special dietary requirements, it’s a good idea to communicate it with them prior to the reservation

How to get there:
The easiest and cheapest option is to take a ferry (fast catamaran) from Dubrovnik. It operates twice a day (9.15am and 7.10pm), but only the morning one goes to Polace on Mljet, which is where you should disembark. The afternoon ferry (7.10pm) goes only to Sobra, which means that you should take a taxi from Sobra to Govedjari (or rent a scooter, which is very convenient on this island)
If you come by car than take a ferry in Prapratno. The ferry operates 5 times a day during the summer months and the price is 20e for a car plus 4e per person. You will disembark in Sobra (Mljet) and than you have half an hour drive to Govedjari, where our retreat will be held.
